Optimum Roofing at the Line Creek Brewing Charity Golf Tournament in Peachtree City
Optimum Roofing sponsored the Line Creek Brewing charity golf tournament in Peachtree City, GA. Photos from our tent, giveaways and the course.
Every so often we trade a roof for a fairway. Optimum Roofing signed on as a silver sponsor of the Line Creek Brewing Co. charity golf tournament in Peachtree City, GA, and we spent the day out on the course with golfers, local businesses and a lot of good people raising money for a good cause.
Why a roofing company sponsors a charity golf tournament
Most of what we do happens up on a roof where nobody can see it. Events like this give folks in Peachtree City and the rest of Fayette County a chance to meet the people behind the yard signs before they ever need a roofer. And when the money goes to charity, saying yes is easy.
What we had going at our tent
We set up right off the course with a prize wheel, and every golfer who stopped by got a spin. Prizes included Optimum Roofing hats, shirts, koozies, magnets and pens, plus a high five if the wheel was not on your side. There was a putting mat out front for anyone who wanted a few practice strokes, and cold drinks and snacks for the walk to the next hole.
Look for the elephant
If you played, you probably saw our elephant in his hard hat on a tee box sign or wrapped around a cold can. He is on our hats, our koozies and our trucks, so if you spot him around Peachtree City, that is us.
Thank you, Line Creek Brewing Co.
A big thank you to Line Creek Brewing Co. for putting the tournament together, to the volunteers who kept everything moving, and to every golfer who stopped by our tent to spin the wheel and say hello. We had a great time and would love to be back next year.
